Cannes, France

Our brief meeting was as fleeting as a past life memory. On a trip to the south of France, back in 2010, I eventually had to move closer to bustling civilization in order to get to the airport on time the next morning.
Our 2 hour drive took us through Cannes, days before the festival. What an honour to see what should have been the almost complete preparations for the famous film festival, but alas, the French Riviera was in mayhem. How on earth did they expect to be ready on time?

So as it seems, there was 10 meter waves that washed away any remnants of what would have been a star studded event, literally the day before we got there. Now those who know me know how I’m always narrowly missing Tsunami’s and other natural disasters all over the world. Fitting that I just missed the action there as well. My guardian angel works overtime and gets paid well for his efforts.

Beautiful blue eyed, men with thick dark locks littered the still beautiful beaches doing all sorts of sexy things like fixing boats and sweeping the streets…
